Happy, Inspired, Lifelong Learners
Eaton Bray Academy is a happy, inclusive family where pupils and community are at our heart. Together we inspire children to be curious and develop a genuine love of learning to provide strong foundations for their future.
We strive to enrich the lives of all, with our morals and values fundamental to our curriculum. Happiness is fostered through mutual care, respect, and communication with a determination to support and include every family in our community. It is vital that every individual is able to feel healthy, happy and safe, in our school and beyond.
Every day we are all challenged to take risks and achieve our personal potential with high expectations.
To achieve this we:
Build a safe, inclusive, and happy environment for all
Follow an inspiring, broad, and creative curriculum with a focus on skills and knowledge
Deepen children’s learning through exciting, aspirational lessons which are relevant to the children’s world and their future aspirations.
Provide a range of opportunities for our children, harnessing our grounds, the local area, and community. We learn in and outside the classroom, providing unique opportunities for all
Focus on all aspects of a child’s life, including their physical and mental health
Work closely with all members of the community including developing strong connections with families
Kind – Honest – Responsible – Appreciative – Resilient – Courageous
Eaton Bray Academy is a special place to be and we know that seeing a school is important when making a decision about the best place for your child. We are happy to arrange tours of the school to allow you to meet our staff and ask any questions. Please contact the school office to arrange this.
We have one class per each school year with a maximum of 30 pupils per class. Each class is taught by a teacher and supported by a teaching assistant. Our small numbers mean that all staff know all our children personally, and are proud of seeing them develop as they move through the school.
All our classes benefit from a wide range of opportunities both within and outside of the school grounds. Our well-equipped forest school and sports resources allow children to develop across the curriculum.
You can find information about our classes at Our Classes – Eaton Bray Academy
Our gates are open between 8.40am to 8.50am. During this time children arrive and walk to their classroom where they are able to organise themselves and begin independent learning. A member of the school staff will always be available to talk to at this time.
At the end of the day children can be picked up between 3.20 and 3.30pm. At this time a member of the classroom staff will be available.
Within the day our school timings are flexible. Children will enjoy a morning break and lunch break, with some classes also taking an afternoon break.
We recognise the importance of exercise for both physical and mental wellbeing so all children will have the opportunity for physical exercise on a daily basis.
Wrap Around Care
We are pleased to provide a happy and stimulating before and after school club within our school grounds.
This is run by our own experienced school staff who know the children well and plan a range of exciting activities as well as providing nutritious food.
Eaton Bray Academy is currently accepting applications for students in all year groups.
Children can start in the pre-school from the term after they are two. Children are admitted to the main school in the September after their fourth birthday.
